Bouncing back

Well, it has been a long week.  I tried, but could not outrun,  a nasty head cold last week and spent all weekend and on into Monday sick at home.  Insult to injury, I was rear-ended by a traffic enforcement officer in a parking garage on Saturday.  ugh.  But I am not going to let this deter me.
 (eat fish at least 2x week) - I did manage to maintain my fish goal
(Try something new) - Jeff and I finished a pretty challenging jigsaw puzzle on  Friday

Unfortunately my new thing for this week was joining a meet-up group for exercise down at the beach.  The first meeting was Monday night and I was stuck indoors with a bad cold.  Well, I will make it next week for sure.  I just need to figure out what will fit the bill this week.  I am going to give this some thought and make it mean something.  I know that commiting to 52 new things over the course of the year means that some of those weekly goals will be little more than trying a new restaurant, but I would like to think that there will be enough real challenges thrown in along the way to make it a worthwhile exercise in stretching my boundries.  I feel the need to do something different, something creative and affirming.  I am sure that I will find something tonight ~ Maybe I will check into some classes
